Halfway between the big city and the countryside, between the urban and the rural environment, SPIDERTAG offers a journey into its universe made of straight lines, nails, earth, hammers, wool, wood and paint.
Swinton Gallery presents in Madrid the first solo exhibition of this artist who since 2008 has been expanding the boundaries of street art through his travels around the world. An incessant search – in those abandoned corners, on a lost peak or in an abandoned village – for new ways to try and conquer space.
Between abstraction and geometry, between cinema and experimentation, between neon lights and fluoride splashes, SECUENCIAS MÍNIMAS paves the way for new directions that reflect the interests of this urban artist, always attentive to straight lines, composition and the disturbing balance of an endless diagonal row.
SECUENCIAS MÍNIMAS includes a series of 23 new works that combine a few simple elements that build a precise and synthetic universe: videos, installations, sculptures made of trunks, wooden structures, light and polyptychs with neon and fluorescent red paint. Lots of neon red paint.
In the 140 square meter main hall of the Swinton Gallery, this urban artist unleashes his latest reinvention, following his path of abstraction and geometry and adding a heavy dose of experimentation.
With objects found on the street – doors, windows or pallets – Spidertag builds an intimate and brilliant story, a personal vision of the future, a diagonal trace on his artistic life that has led him since 2008 to transit on the paths between urban and rural areas.

Between countryside and city, between urban and rural, SPIDERTAG offers a journey into its universe made of straight lines, nails, earth, hammers, wool, wood and paint.
Swinton Gallery presents the first solo exhibition in Madrid of this artist who, since 2008, has been pushing the boundaries of street creation through his many travels around the world. A continuous search – in those forgotten corners, on a remote mountain or in an abandoned city – for new forms of intervention and appropriation of space.
Between abstraction and geometry, between cinema and experimentation, between neon and fluorine spray, SEQUENZE MINIME explores new paths that reflect the concerns of this urban artist, always interested in straight lines, composition and the unsettling balance of an eternal diagonal.
MINIMAL SEQUENCES brings together a series of 23 new works where, based on the simplicity of the elements, he builds a precise and synthetic universe that includes videos, installations, sculptures with trunks, wooden structures, lights and polyptychs with neon and red fluorine. Lots of red fluoride.
In the 140m2 of the Swinton Gallery, this urban artist unleashes his latest reinvention, following his trajectory of abstraction and geometry and adding a strong dose of topicality and experimentation.
With objects found on the street, such as doors, windows or pallets, Spidertag builds an intimate and ingenious story, destined to look through the window of the future, the diagonal of his artistic life, the one that has led him since 2008, to travel the streets between urban and rural.
